FTO gpx or SSS pulsar?

Just wondering a FTO gpx manual with full way exhaust with extractors, custom air filter vs a SSS pulsar with full way exhaust and extractors too, who would win?

well the FTO is 2.0L v6 MIvec rated at 150kw, the SR20de is rated at 105kw, 0-100 times FTO GPX 7.0secs SSS 9.0 appox , id assume that gains from exhuast and extractors/headers would be about the same for each approx, maybe slightly more for FTO given v6, car weights are very close almost equal, therefore i would assume the FTO could take it comfortably according to the criteria, however if the SSS was SR20det then it would be real close, maybe just the SSS ??? it also depends on the drivers, but assuming they are on par, that would be my guess ??

gpx = 150 kw & 200nm
SR20det = 153kW 274Nm
obviously the torque difference is substancial, car weights being equal, power being virtually equal, i understand SSS with sr20det go hard, but given the above how could it destroy a GPX?? does that torque difference equal to destroyin a gpx, i realise it would beat the GPX but "Destroy" is a little strong is it ??? actually i suppose it could lol,

SR20DET would win, its turbo..
If it was normal SR20 non turbo, FTO would eat it i reckon.

BTW: are we talking, the Jap model with the hatchback and quad throttlebody?
If so, hell yeah the SSS would win.
Edit: ooh, thats GTI isn't it? wrong car me thinks.

rofl....indeed its a pulsar wahaha...this question came up was due to a new security working with me at my work now for the building...and his like, what do you drive, im like fto, his like ooo i kill so much of them ftos, im like....what do you drive...his like a sss...with just extractors and exhaust, im like thats it? Lol just questionin it thats all, his like fto ar pretty slow......im like lets try it out some time...when we actually do, ill give you guys an update lol

If your cars white, I'd considering spraying and rebadging it.

I had a GTI-R pulsar back home and it would defintily destroy a FTO

lol true but isnt the GTI R different to a SSS with a turbo or is it really the same engine ??? i guess ill quickly look it up, lol

hahaha, once again it seems im correct lol

, the GTiR has a modified SR20det, giving it 168 kw more forged internals and other slight mods, therefore it would be different to a SSS pulsar with a regular sr20DEt upgrade.

you seem to be forgetting that a gtir has a rear differential as well as a front one! try dumping the clutch on a turbo sss compared to a gtir, see what happens.

mmm...im not sure about if his sss is a stock once with extractors or the turbo one...but from what his saying, it seems like its just a normal sss.

Don't worry about him. Ask yourself - Is it REALLY worth worrying about if your car is faster than a stereotypical pulsar driven by a leb?
No matter what you say or do, he's going to believe what he wants to believe. Let him think what he wants, if his car IS faster, then who cares. Nobody here bought an FTO for speed
