looks like its got 2 resonators, sh*tty cat and a muffler. Looks like 2.25 in piping, cant really tell what the material is. It would be dirty stainless steel or just mild steel. The piping doenst look like its been bent properly.

Craptacular 2.25" mild steel with machine bends, shithouse welding & cheap resonator(s)/muffler/cat. Wouldn't piss it out if it was on fire

oh come on dont be so harsh.
Well man it aint the best at all. I dont know why there is 2 resonators but hey they have done it. I would say it is probably 2.5" but could be 2.25, as ben says it has machine bends not mandrel so overall it might aswell be a half inch smaller. Please tell me this is the exhaust you brought with the car

haha yes it was the one it came with when i bought the car...
i thought it was quite sh*t when it got put up!
the pic where the cat is has the most disturbing welding...
it doesnt sound too bad..
but im guessing performance wise it quite sh*t!
another thing on the shoppping list
why cant people do things properly instead of buying cheap sh*t!

Press bends ... ...
You will be getting some flow degredation there. Only way to actually get away with press bends is on a turbo vehicle with well oversized piping (read 4" plus) as back pressure isn't an issue in the exhaust system, it just gets forced out.

Probably becuase dont want to spend money on something thought of as a P plater car. Same reason people buy cheap high mileage FTOs when modified ones in good condition are only a few grand more
No im not bitter

Valandis brother, you'd be better off having a stock system fitted to the one you have on atm. Have a talk to dstocks, he has a hks superdragger, 2nd hand of course. Those welds do look pretty shotty and wouldn't surprise me if they broke or developed a hole one day.
I really don't understand why they'd keep the stock cat-converter on considering it costs around 200 for a quality one

My exhaust came with the car, havent been right under the car recently, but looking under the rear, the piping size is pretty hefty, looks even slightly bigger than 2.5"
But yeah
Your system looks half factory, and half cheap replacement due since maybe something failed or rusted...
Theres only 2 hotdogs, which does near the same as 1 oval.

Hey! My FTO is my first car. It was $8000 after talkin them down from $10500. It has over 200k kms, but i intend on keeping it for a VERY long time, and to start working on it once i get a better paying job...
Not all P platers are bad...

i never said it was the HKS. Yes it's 2.5". Yes it is apparently a high flow cat (or so i was told) If you go through the receipts you have, you will find all you want to know.
