Supra kit on FTO

What do you guys think the chances of successfully transplanting a Supra bodykit onto an FTO would be?
Anyone ever looked into it? There are some mint Supra kits out there. What are the differences in the vehicles wheelbase and width? Do any of the dimensions match to any degree?
Anyone else think that looks dead sexy?

I keep looking at it...
The lines are so damn similar...
Quick flip later... hmm
The FTO is bulkier, especially above both the front and rear wheels. What you fellas and felleses think?

Let me go through my list of FTO Australia clichés for that answer...
- At least nobody got hurt... nope
- Personally its not to my tastes....nope
- At least you're ok....nope
- Yes it can be turboed - 10 grand....nope
Ahh, here it is! "You can do anything if you got money

If I could I would put an Ab Flug on mine. I think its much nicer then the Aerocraft Kaze. might have to weld on some supra quarter panels but i think it will fit.

I dont think the ab would fit. The supra has longerr doors and rear... So its not going to be as easy as chop and weld. If it was choped the vent lines that extend towards the front of the car would not align.... So if it was to be done it would be a whole custom job.

the supra is so much larger than the fto... the lines are pretty similar but you would have to shrink all the parts to get them to fit.
and its not a case of putting it in for a cold wash.

Well I got the power already (can easily take standard Supras with zorst/filter/minor boost), so why can I not have the the look I am after as well?
The FTO is by far lighter, and with an engine rated the same power wise (standard spec).
I am not after an FTO that looks like a Supra, but I am after some of the body parts and do a bit of a mongrel. My car will still have the same lines, and it will still be an FTO, but I want some not so subtle changes to the bodywork. I have driven it as a sleeper for a couple years now, it is time for an aggressive look.
Still waiting on a photoshop jobbie from Alekazam re. the RX7 projectors and Supra tail lights.
It is no secret that there is nothing available for an FTO in New Zealand, so I have to think outside the box. It is also no secret that I am one of the only ones over here who is bothering to modify an FTO semi seriously at this point in time (who at least broadcasts the fact at least).
I throw ideas around a lot, some work, some don't, and some hate them. But that doesn't matter really. I welcome all constructive criticism to the crap ideas I throw around, but saying to just buy a Supra is like the elitists over here who told me "you can't fit a VR4 engine in an FTO, just buy a Legnum." So many of us have proven them wrong now that I just laugh.
Considering that I am good with my hands, money isn't really a problem and I have some very good contacts over here, anything is possible.
Just bare with the stupid ideas please

Well no, my neighbor has a Supra and we measured it up and from the back of the door to the front of the rear wheel arch the FTO is longer by 2cm the trouble is the supra doors are a nice long curve at that the back where as the FTO ones are a lot more square so the vent will most likely stop the door opening. From the top of the wheel arch to the back of the car is as good as perfect.

the fto is quite a small car width wise.... I think if you could do a nice custom job it would look great
What i mean is:
If you widened the whole front by a good 5-8cm and the rear 10cm the ab flug design could work really well.... Just add some with to the door to connect the front and rear guard vent lines and you have a widebody fto with the sex lines and vents.... Something like the pro japanese
And it could vent the brakes aswell??? Chuck on some phat 10" wide wheels with dish and OMG! It wont be sleepy anymore

Yes it will
I'm sure if being FWD was an issue for me I would not own an FTO in the first place
