Hey guys and Girls,

i have just got my car back on the road after an engine rebuild. but cant remember what my old TPS voltage was. i thought i was around the 0.4 to 0.5 Voltage mark but it doesnt seem to be right.

can some body please check on there GPX what the voltage is at operating temperature at idle and let me know.

i think at a guess its the 2nd and 4th wire cant remember though. if you play around with a multimter youll find it though.

Do you have traction control or not? As they differ.

Symptoms I had when my TPS needed adjusted were erratic revs, at exactly 30 mph in third gear, just what you need when driving in town in a tip car! However adjusting you TPS is a breeze.

Tools you will need,

Screwdriver, crosshead type
Pins, sewing type
Multi-meter
0.65mm thickness gauge

For cars without Traction Control

Place the thickness gauge between the fixed SAS, the speed adjustment screw on the bulkhead side of the throttle body, and the throttle lever so the throttle is very slightly opened. Then push the pins through the two wires on the engine side of the TPS and attach to a digital OHMeter. These are wires 1 & 2 and are the actual “switchâ€Â

yeah i haven't got traction control,

but i have actually tried most millivolts between 0.4 and 1 V but it stilll doesnt seem right.

if Anybody would be able to check theres it would be gretaly appreiated!
