speed kills...

i learnt from losing my licence, hopefully you have.

just so you guys know, 4.5 years ago i lost my licence for passing 3 cars towing boats in 1 manoeuvre, it was considered dangerous driving and i lost my licence...

every time i enter the country or enter another country i have to declare i have a criminal conviction.

this will hold you up and/or prevent you from entering a country.

every bit counts.

think of the consequence.. because i didnt and now i suffer.

when i was teaching my son to drive i tried to stress the point that a car is a deadly weapon and should be respected as such.
you feel bad that you lost your licence, but think how much worse you would feel if you killed a kid on a bike, or an old lady !!!
i can't say that i never speed, but never more than maybe 20kms over, and even then i am more focused, and never with someone else in the car.

s*it happens, you have to move on and learn from it. maybe a good time to do some work on your car??? :D

You live, you learn. Good to see your taking responsibility for it and not trying to blame it on the cops or someone else.

Also you cant do 200, you have a speed llimiter and neither can he as police are only allowed to chase to a maximum of 160.

the question is-- did u learn? n would u do it again?

if the answer is 1. yes n 2. no then u have half a brain.

my mate has been caught 2ce drink driving n atm has his licence suspended for 6mths, when i asked him these questions he told me he hadn't learnt n would prolly do it again.

if u were my mate i would prolly call u an idiot but im sure your friends are doing a good enough job of it

just dont do it again, u might lose something more precious and irreplaceable to u next time.

really? i didn't think you could get criminal records for things like that. that would suck majorly, esp because you weren't speeding for the hell of it.

I could of got done last weekend I had 30 minets to get from wooloongabba to my apartment in the city then to fortitude valley befor the 3am lock down. I past 9 cars by speeding along in a turning lane then driving straight at the intersection. the 9th car was a cop car  when I stopt at the next red light the cop pulled up beside me leand out the window and sed mate your attracting a bit to much attention to yourself just setall down a bit ok. and that was it omg wtf wow

Dont worry dude.. its part of life. you dont really learn until the mistake actually happens. Got done for speeding with a 4 point + $200 fine, but that suffices a learning experience, for me though, others might need 5 drink driving offences to learn but its good that you'll learn from this, though the punishment is pretty big but its good that you dont need more to learn..

peace, have fun in life. responsibly.

the sad thing is, it sometimes takes an accident involving a fatality for some people to learn...

Best leave speeding for the track...

Count yourself lucky you didn't get done for street racing as well. Then you would've had to put up with all the other sh*t that comes with that.

Enjoy your time on the sideline, I'm sure you'll come back a better, more mature driver.
