FTO AUSTRALIA

Time has come for me to part with this car of mine I've had for 3 years. Reason for sale is because I'm moving interstate and don't want to bring it across the Tasman! Imported it myself in May 06, have papers to prove. Initially had odo of 82,652kms, now 112,615kms. No accidents.

Car is pretty much stock standard since I imported it.

Engine & Mechanics:

Spent a whole heaps making sure it runs in tip top condition, regularly serviced with receipts. Also have had some major repairs eg. timing belt, alternator, and many other small bits and pieces.

Wheels & Tyres:

Tyres were bought last year, still has heaps of thread, only been around the city. Wheels are standard FTO.

Interior:

Clean, original FTO mats all around. Kenwood CD player with aux input for your fav ipod tunes, Sony Xplod Subwoofer and Amplifier, together with generic tweeters. Momo steering wheel (2 months old). Proximity sensors all around.

Exterior:

Average condition, some rust bubbles on the roof, and some minor chips and 1 x dent. Bonnet is not as shiny as I would like it to be. The whole car could do with a polish, pretty sure it will be looking stunning then!

Has immobiliser + alarm + central locking that was installed as aftermarket.

Hmm, fair interested, u got any idea how much it costs to ship interstate to NSW?. Looks pretty good condition, how bad are the rust bubbles since there isnt a pic and the dent is on the left side of the rear right??

Yes the FTO has some exterior problems, all of them minor bar the rust on the roof. Thanks for asking anyways. I will see how it goes with the sale, if necessary I will drop the price further.

Can you provide pictures of the rust on the roof?
Also, is that mold in the front lighter? And on the drivers side, how come the color is different compared to the front bumper?

I will get u pics of the rust soon, just that when I tried taking photos of it that day, the sun was up, and the reflection just probably didn't show the rust well!

That's not mold on the front lights, it's just the coating peeling off, common problem as far as I know, just need a good sanding down to get rid off it.

And the colour of the doors and bumper is obviously the same, think the lighting made it look different. Sorry if that is not apparent.

Nah there is definitely a color difference on the front bumper compared to the rest of the car, it's more shiny from both pictures

I agree that the bumper is shinier, it has been that since I bought the car from a private importer, and similarly mentioned to me by the guys who polished my car a while ago. Car has been accident-free under my ownership, although I could possibly have been duped in some way by that importer (hope not!) about the car's previous ownership.
