Looks nuts.
How difficult was it to fit the focus repeaters?
How much was the bonnet mod?
I reckon your car would look the goods, if you tint the rear lights

Thanks guys.
The original repeater holes were filled and new holes cut for the Focus repeaters, this is due to the shape of the wing, it's just not flat!
I haven't got a price seperatly for the vents but you'd be looking at the best part of about 800 GBP I'd think - it was a lot of hard work, there are far cheaper options out there.
As for the rear lights, I've got something special in mind...

I've got the alarm wired up so I press a button and the drivers window drops - then I open the door from the inside (it's much less hassle than it sounds) but ultimately I will be getting solenoids on the drivers door so with the push of a button it pops open - oh & of course I've got a backup plan in the event of the alarm/remote failing, I've left the bonnet lock in place & climb through that way!

(already tested it & it's most amusing

)
The wheel is a Veilside wheel, to go with my Veilside gear knob, pedals & bodykit! (I'm not addicted honest!

)

Thanks mate. I could tell you the price but it wouldn't mean much as I got the work done a little cheaper than normal - or I could include the original cost to get the kit sprayed & fitted by the importer so badly it all had to be redone by my mates bodyshop so...

Those Veilside wheels look so much like the buddy club, which mikey got on his.

It's the steering wheel I was on about mate, the alloys are Buddy Clubs (much as I'd like Veilside wheels I just can't justify the expense!

)

That front face is flat out amazing! Best looking face i've seen on an FTO I think.
I noticed in one of the shots, the car give off like a purple tinge, is that a custom colour? because my car, is black, and I saw a few people advertising "black perl" when selling their fto's...
was there 2 black's?

nope. only 1 black, anything else would be custom.

If you get your colour code looked up it will be listed as "pearl black" . The official Mitsubishi name of the black colour on ftos is "pyrenese black" me thinks. Although I have noticed a difference in colour between my black GPX and another member's at an FTO cruise.

Just out of curiosity, would this be bad for your engine with the vents, when it rains? (wouldn’t you get a sH*T load of water under the hood)

Unfortunately that's just the effect caused by having a naff digi-cam!
It's the standard Pyrenees black. Although being a new paint job the green/gold flecks do show up loads better in bright sunlight than they do on older paint!
GPXXX wrote:those wheels are 17s, coz that's as big as they come...
Yup they're 17s, although I'm fairly sure I've seen them for sale as 18s?

Or do you mean they're only available as 17s in an FTO fitment?
Maybe I dreamt it...

They're actually perfectly positioned so the rain (and obviously in the UK we get a lot of it

) runs down the front, back & sides of the engine block and avoids the electrics and battery all together - I'd like to say it was genius design but in all honesty it was just luck & a good job too as there's just no space for run off trays...

First of all i would like to say yr veilside front bar looks very striking. It gives the appeal that original veilside kits had when they first came out
Also, with questions regarding the different blacks, yes there is only one black and the reason why people might see different blacks is becuz a lot of FTOs have been in accidents or have just been neglected by their owners therfore it is just natural that some of them have been resprayed.

remember there are 2 types of Buddyclub P1s - the series 1 and series 2.
both of us have the series- 1 model and the largest diamater you can get from the manufacturer is 17".... (unless they started making them in 18s only recently)
the series-2 P1 however has a polished lip and goes up to 19" from memory...
