Wrong spark plugs!

Hey all i bough new sparkies for my front bank after installing them i noticed i got the wrong plugs!
Instead of a NGK: BKR6E-11 i got NGK: BKR5E-11 instead!
are they safe? or replace?

dont quote me on this but i think the 5e's will spark hotter than the 6e's so while you probably wont get much of a problem, your car MIGHT start pinging etc...
i would go back to whats recommended

where can we get Platinum R spark plugs from?
and is there only 1 type of spark plugs that fit the fto? the BKR6E-11??? or are there others?

no theres heaps of plugs you can get.
just get a corss reference done.
the BKR6E-11 are NGK R plugs.
yeah i think the BKR5E-11 were colder plugs, i took them out seemed to be a white tinge on the tip, which means the plug was too cold.
the iridium plug replacment for the BKR6E-11 is BKR6EIX-11

dont white tips mean overheating or leaning out? i could be wrong...

yeah the plug must be a colder plug.
