hpc coating

wiil order the rpw extractors/downpipe set soon and have a quick question:
does hpc/ceramic coating do allot?

ive heard it helps with heat soak and engine bay cooling? the oem extractors arent coated so im guessing bay temps will be the same
im not too fussed with the wanky bling look, anything else to help with heat? turbo fabric wraps maybe?

Yep Hpc coatings allow for a better thermal barrier, ie less heat absorbing into the extractors path.
If you got the $$$ to burn then go for it but I personally wouldnt bother, insulation fabric should do the trick, see it done on many NA tuned cars.

You will be fine with out the HPC coating. I would only worry about it if you were racing.

i reckon the wrap looks better then the coating, might go down the path of your old extractors ben and just paint them with caliper spray.

i reckon you still need a kind of coating on the wraps to protect it from contaminations like oils and stuffs.

You shouldnt be leaking oils and stuff

yeah....but not to mention foreign contamination coming in from outside the car.
