anyone nitrous injected their FTO?
if so what system and has it had any repurcussions?

funny thing, i was actually query that point to my friend today. There were to negative drawbacks.
First, the FTO has good power up high and its down low where we get canned by 200sx's and so on. NOS wont kick in until a high revs. U can set it to come down low but its considered very dangerous and not good for the engine.
Secondly , being a front wheel drive car, once that power comes on it is very easy to lose control.
Better cheap alternative is a supercharger from the old MR2. Will cost roughly the same and u'll have power down low as well!

a Nos system with an actuator that delivers NOS in proportion to the RPM of the car would over come this. One of the guys in the UK developed something for his FTO to do this. I was going to do it but decided that NOS would not really help me with the way i drive (i'm not a fan of the street 1/4 mile, i prefer winding roads)

yeh, there was an article in a magazine about 6-9months ago about this guys car... looked pretty sexc.
I cant remember the magazine name, i did post something thought when i saw the mag - it should still be in the forums somewhere?

from memory i believe Jon Carlo's (YFTO8U) car was fitted with a NOS system, though i haven't heard of the effectiveness of this system...
if you want low down torque, go for a small turbo or a supercharger setup... the beauty with NOS is that you can have 'power on-demand', but you can only have a limited run with these until the gas cylinder requires a refill, and often it is quite expensive... oh and it is illegal to have a NOS system connected whilst driving on the roads (for Vic at least)

I run an Ozrace Oznos kit in my car. I have only ran it once, due to the fact that I was not supplying enough fuel to the system. I am currently in the process of re-doing the system.
Being at uni now full time has severely slowed the progress in doing this.
I will keep ya up dated, however money and time factors are seriously limiting my options
