Urgent help required in Melbourne!

Hey all,
Driving to my car pool meet up point today I stopped my car and there was steam coming out of engine bay. Popped bonnet and it seems theres a leak behind the thermos. Definately not coming from the pipes.
I think my radiator has a crack in it! Who has a spare one or know where I can get one?
Thanks all.

My misses FTO did exactly the same thing the other day. One of the bearings in one of the thermos had collapsed & the fan blade had been rubbing on the radiator core. I pulled it out & found the leak (was only a small hole) so I just Devcon'ed it up & put her back in. Its been good as new ever since!

The leak does not seem that bad when I looked under the bonnet. Prob 100ml dropped on the ground when I was there for a few mins, and did not overheat. So I am guessing you could be right. If I took the radiator to a radiator joint they could fix it no worries? Just a pain in the arse as I guess trying to source another radiator in Melb on short notice is a pain in the arse.
What did you do in relation to the thermo? Can you get a single replacement or what?
Thanks

Its the worlds strongest epoxy, like liquid steel. I've used it to seal cracks in cylinder heads.
Available from most specialist tool shops or bearing shops.

The bearing is still a bit shot, but ok. So I just put some washers inbehind the mount points of the fan to space it away from the radiator a couple of mm.

Had a closer look just then at the radiator, it's not the fan rubbing against the core. Its where the core connects onto the top dome part of the radiator. The zigzag type seal. Can I get this repaired?
Also Bennoz is the radiator hard to take out??

It may be but, It's a lot cheeper doing it that way rather take it to the shop any they do the same thing but charge you an Arm and a leg for doing it.

May take the radiator out and tried getting it repaired before getting a new one. Bad thing is my car is sitting at my mates house and and to change it on the road tomorrow morning. If it's anything like other cars, I'm guessing it's only a few bolts so it cant be that hard!
But then again the alternator shouldn't be hard to change either! But it is on the FTO!

Well took out the radiator, lucky it did not rain!
Seems the leak was coming from the seal between the top tank and the core. Took it to a joint and they wanted $270 to change the tank. Screw that, I sourced a new one for $250 delivered to my joint as the guy lives near me!
Guess I have to finish it off tomorrow.
