My white knight  is for sale.

EDIT: Price drop to $10500.

For those of you who don't know my car I've included a little description.

What is it?

1997 Version R, maufactured 08/97. Auction grade 3 BB. 49735 km upon purchase for $17500 in Jan 2008. Have owners handbook, logbooks and import papers. I am the first Australian owner. I have all purchase papers.

What mods have been done?

All the standard Version R are on the car. HID headlights, Strut bars, leather door liner, blue seats etc...

1. UAS intake pipe
2. Unifilter
3. Heat shield
4. Hurricane HPC extractors
5. Metalcat
6. Full Apexi N1 evolution catback (resonator removed)
7. G4 coilovers (street spec: 8kg fronts and 6kg rears)
8. DBA 4000 slotted rotors front and rear
9. Ferodo Ds2500 pads
10. Painted MIVEC cover and polished AIM
11. Willans 4 point harness
12. 5 speed manual conversion done on 04/06/08
13. Rebuilt gearbox and excedy Heavy duty clutch
14. Cusco Type MZ 1.5 way LSD
15. Custom made driveshafts for the LSD
16. Haltech Interceptor piggyback on a relatively conservative tune producing 126 FWKW (have dyno graphs)
17. Rear guards professionally rolled
18. Clear side indicators

Servicing

1. New Superflex offset castor bushes for front lower control arms on 23/06/10 .
2. Auto electrician diagnosed cause of tailight short circuit. Replaced associated fuse and wires on 30/12/09
3. NGK Platinum spark plugs, Walbro fuel pump, fuel filter, 6 new injectors, Haltech installed and tuned on 16/09/09
4.Rebuilt gearbox consisting of 2x hemi bearings, 4x hemi cups, 2x hemi seals, input seal, front bearing, custome groved housing to fit LSD on 17/05/09 .
5. Major service consisting of A/C multi rib belt, new A/C idler pulley, Power steering multi rib belt, camshaft drive belt completed on 14/10/2008

Other points

1. Tuned and always run on BP Ultimate 98 (Have reciepts for every fill up..bit anal but I love my car)
2. Odo shows 174 xxx km (Clusters were changed over when the gearbox conversion was done)
3. Actually Mileage is 84 xxx km. Mechanic who did the gearbox conversion can vouch for this.
4. I Have used various engine oils (Motul 300V Chrono, Royal Purple) but am currently using Castrol edge sport.
5. Currently using Penrite limslip 90 in the gearbox.
6. Rear bearings are very noisy but I do have brand new replacement hubs. Havent had the time to fit them yet.
7. Slight paint damage on rear right quarter due to being side swipped by bus.
Body is very straight otherwise and paint is immaculate for its age.
8. All major work carried out by Pulse racing. I have done a couple of oil changes myself as well.
9. Will include DC skirts (unpainted) in sale if interested.
10. The car is set up to be driven, not stared at. It's not the prettiest thing nor is it the easiest/most comfortable drive. It doesnt have fancy subs or amplifiers which was never something I considered.
11. I'll tell anyone now that the suspension is stiff, the LSD is aggressive and the car will want to fight you for control. But despite this, all the modifications and maintenance has been done with retaining the reliability of the OEM car. It's not hard to get used to driving it. You will get used to how the car feels and when you are able to modulate clutch and throttle to minimise the LSD clunk, you'll feel like you've achieved something.
12. Rego until July 2011
13. I have receipts for $21 185.20 in parts and labour for the above mentioned things. WTF???? 8O

Price

Realistically I would like all the money I have spent on it back. Have had a browse on carsales and I believe that most of the FTOs available on there are overpriced.

Ill include any spare parts that I have in the garage.

So Steve, does your car remain unrun now? Do you start it up or give it a drive once in a while since you have your motorcycle(s)?

AJ to the rescue! Yeah, I'd have helped you out if I was around.

BTW, I find the bag of screws and clips for that rear bar last weekend, I knew I would't have thrown them out. guessing you don't need them any more?
