Boot light switch

Hi all,

My boot light has stopped working and I am fairly sure that the switch is to blame (fuse is fine, have tried a different bulb, and the metal piece that plugs into the switch is quite loose/wobbly).

Can the white piece in the photo be detached or will I have to buy the whole boot latch?
Depending on the answer to this question, does anyone have either a) a switch or b) a boot latch including the switch?

Thanks.
Pete

NO the switch can be seperatered. I would check power to the switch and the bulb before I go replacing stuff though. It could be something as simple as a broken wire or plug come loose

Buy a spray can of contact cleaner or PCB cleaner from a shop like Jaycar/Altronics and spray the inside of the switch.
