Give them a good check over. I replaced most of my rear suspension only to find the upper arms were good and the lower ones were fubarred. Upper ones dont seem to wear at the same rate.
I didn't buy lower ones so have to do that bit still

Only difference between GPX & GR rear ends is in the droplinks... but if you'd read the f**ken suspension thread you'd already know that!

There are two control arms and a swinging arm, all with bushes of different types at the ends.
Have a look at the outer bush in the actual swinging arm, it'll be fooked first.

As far as i can tell there is a bent/knackered control arm somewhere in the mix but i thought i would do the lot as preventative, at the moment just finding out what options i have

Upper dog bone - least likely to be causing the knocking IMO -

Lower dog bone - likely to be fooked -

Swinging arm, outer bush likely to be fooked -

Bush for above arm -

Replacing the bush on its own seems like a good idea but often the inner bush is stuck so getting the arm off to press out the outer bush can f**k up other parts. I would be inclined to either get another arm to refurb or just get a new arm.

I'd start with this one. Its the most common to go.
