i got booked today for having only 1 p plate on because one had fallen off 5-10 minutes before i was pulled over without me noticing because i was driving.

absolute c**t of a cop, im not paying


what do i do?

Pay the fine and then get a P plate holder for your car.

bottem line is he fined you only way to get out of it would have been to bullshit hard and make him not write the ticket out

bolt the middle of the P plate to your number plate, on both sides

or put it in the window of your car

i lost mine off my hood the other day still havent put a new one on but may just do that next time i go out to the car lol

ive been done in the work car for no p plates on the north shore ( no streets over 90 out there ) and i had 6 plates in my bag and he still wrote the ticket

rta states p plates must be displayed on the front and back of the car on the out side ( cop tryed talking sh*t bout having it perpendicular to the road but i havent seen it any where on the rta site )
i used to have mine up the very top of my hood lol hardly see it but could argue that it is the front of the car and its not hiden ( they dont say at what angle it needs to be viewed like they do with number plates )

yea ive been let off heeps of times doing the wrong thing speeding no p plates
a lot of the time at work i get pulled over for rbt and they wil either just get me to count dont bother getting licence or just tell me to drive on cause im in a security car but then u some times get the noobs that havent been in it for long and will write a ticket for no p plates even though u have 4 sets in the car ( like who has 4 sets unless they plan to use them ) its all bout the luck of the draw me and my mate got pulled over for 130 both went either side of him on the f3 mind u i was on red ps and had none on and got let off with a warning

U used one of the metal round key rings when i was on my P's and just hooked through the plate and the p plate, I never lost a plate for three years

well i threw one on my hood befor and took it for a drive 2nd gear it flew off guess i prob should have cleaned my hood first
now i cant slide one under my spoiler on the metal boot part either and once i put the vented hood on wont be able to put one on hood either arr stupid p plates

Couldnt of happened to a nicer bloke really
