I'm here and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
My opinion is that this is the best forum in Aus at present as people have a large tendency to rattle on about unrelated issues with the Yahoo groups meaning more mouse clicks that inevitably waste time when the topic becomes unrelated to the original post...

Hi guys,
I've had my '96 FTO (5spd manual with sunroof) for about 6 weeks now. I'm living in Commodore country up here in Mackay. My baby (fto) is turning a few heads
It's all stock at the moment but I want to look into some new mags and skirts in the future. While I am on the topic- does anyone have a right rear mudguard lying around they would be willing to sell me??
This is my first post on the website... it won't be my last!

Hey All QLD Owners!!!!

Hi Guys,
Don't mean to highjack this thread but we have a yahoogroup set up for Queensland owners at
www.groups.yahoo.com/group/ftoqld.
This group was created as a source of more localised information for owners in QLD.
A lot of people found it easier to get e-mails rather than looking on and posting on a message board (especially whilst at work). We don't have much traffic and don't tend to post a lot of uneeded messages. (you could always opt for a daily summary)
We are due to have a cruise shortly but as it is a busy time of year for most people I have been a bit slack organising it.
Cheers
Chris

I'm on the Gold Coast. Breza that link didn't work. Anyone planning an upcoming Brissy/Gold Coast cruise? Missed the one out to Hinze Dam.

Sorry Folks,
Here is the correct URL
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ftoqld
Yahoo have changed the format. (might be why no one has joined lately.

)
Any ideas for a cruise are welcome, at the mo I was just planning on going for a Sunday afternoon blast up Mount Nebo or Glorious and a stopover for a cup of coffee.
Cheers
Chris

Mt Nebo or Glorious??? Never heard of em. Sounds like a good idea though. I've heard there's a few good runs out west of Brissy. Nothin like a Mountain run on a sun morn.

i went up the mountain on monday we left at 10am and it was beautiful day and over gloriuos we stopped at sommerset dam for lunch, maybe we could do a bbq on the otherside before driving home. it is a nice drive and the fto handles it sweet. i hope we can have a cruise soon

How about we set a date and location and see how we go? Doesn't have to be a big thing. We can get a bit of feedback over the next couple of weeks.

We have a poll running at the mo on the FTO QLD YahooGroup to see what date suits most people for our next cruise .
If anyone is keen to meet up 2 nite for a cruise, give me a call 0418 177 897.
Cheers
Chris
