For the last 3 weeks, my car was in the workshop for new paint job + new front bar.
So today i went to pickup my car and was hippy-jumpy-overjoyed. But, things getting bad the moment i left the workshop.

1st, when i was exiting the workshop, it went by a loud "CRAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGG"
i was like holy-moly-shittt & during that very moment, the image of kate's cracked front lip struck my mind.
Being afraid to see what happened to my front bar, i just reverse and again "Craggggggggg" and lastly got down the kerb by driving sideways.
It can't even go through a normal/standard entry kerb.

On the way home reaching a traffic light (turned orange), the bmw in front me shifting to the left lane while i was going to pass that traffic light.
He emergency stopped as the other car in front of him (left lane) decide not to pass the traffic light.
Guess what? his rear butt/tail is sticking out on my lane!!!!
My brakes went "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCHIIINNG CHINNG CHING CHIANG CHING CHIANG"

I was that close, sooooo close, very closeeeeeeeeeee on hitting him.
Touch wood touch wood.
I'm not driving my FTO anymore untill the autosalon. :facepalm2:

Your car looks good to not drive it. Careful now, you might get withdrawal symptoms...

The bottom of the front bar got scratched so bad through paint/coat/gel. Straight through fiber glass.
And slight crack on paint at the side edge of the bar. :facepalm2:

I'm getting the personalized slim plate to replace my standard ones.
I would love to have it done like yours, at the side edge'
but i don't know where to source the L bracket/spring-bolts & nuts, and i don't have the tool to do the drilling on bottom of my front bar.

You can relocation kits on ebay, not in australia though

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid ... Categories

i was thinking about this but it wouldnt be much of an improvement over mine, the veilside is too curved it needs to be braced from the top. But this would go well on yours as its pretty much straight.

The number plate on my VS front is off to the drivers side part of the bar.
Amacha had it placed like that in VIC with no problems (i think) and I've been through pits and pulled over by cops with no issues, so they must turned a blind eye to it.

I actually reserved that spot for something else.
A 20 bucks chrome decepticon badge, just so Megan Fox would lean/linger on my car. :cheeky:

Mmmmm, there'll be a big gap between the plate and curve when viewed from sideway if it's mounted straight.
spencer's is like 30 degree to left, which can't be view at 45 degree from right??
