hi well my FTO got broken into at the beggining of december and the whole ignition barrel and wiring was stolen, it has been in the mechanics ever since ... every day i call them and they say call tomoro it should be done and it has now been 61 days since the break in. the initial problem was fixed and about 10 days ago it was brought up that the boot locking mechanism is not clicking in... apparently it works fine but just doesnt click in properly .... im wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way i myself could fix it or if there is anything i could do because it is just getting to the stage where they keep saying call tomoro everytime i call and it is just frustrating not having any transportation.... im thinking its a bootlock it cant be that hard to fix?

The boot lock is adjustable. The bolt holes that hold the lock in allow some movement to solve that issue. 5 minute job unless something else is wrong. Certainly should be able to fix yourself I would say
