hey guys i've been hearing rattling noise fron the passenger side
mechaniuc says its probably because i need new engine mounts
how much do they cost and what is the use of it?
and also i use bendix or bentix or wateva brakepads
are thsoe sh*t?
and wats the green/black/red stuff???
which brake pad is the best and doesnt cost an arm and a leg???

that all depends upon what you use your car for and how you drive it, how long you want them to last and how much you want to spend. e.g. normal day-to-day driving, heavy / agressive driving, track work etc.

greenstuff is a name of a pad.

Just go a bendix pad good enough.

You don't need anything special then, just the standard pads should be fine, and use the savings to do other things with

From memory paypaya recently changed his and just went to his local "Brakes Plus" store and got one grade above the standard. From his message, he reckons they're good and based on your driving style they'd probably be a good priced option.

those from brakes plus were my first change, a while ago. I got the best pads possible, there was a set higher but it was for race use only.

They were alright, not brake dust, seem to resist fade better than the bendix advanced pads i got.

Should I take that to mean that you'd recommend the Brakes Plus ones over the Bendix?

Don't BrakesPlus give you a free lifetime change over (or something like that) so you buy them once but they'll give you new ones when the old ones run out?

bendix advanced not ultimate. After couple months of use the bendix pads got damn noisy bloody hated them. I still have 3/4 of the front pads in my garage at the moment!

I got the brakes plus pads 3-4 years ago, from what i saw they were a better pad, but when getting near the end of pad life they started to rumble slightly after hard braking.

They are dust free so no more dirty rims. They cost me 160 bucks from what i remember. Yeah they do provide a lifetime warranty. I seriously dont know why i didnt go back for another set of pads. I think i forgot and got something else from another place. Cant remember what i got though.

Dont quote me on the specs though it was ages ago, but 80% sure they were a better pad than the advanced, one of the major reasons is they a damn noisy.
