thing is if you use it you need a after market ecu
i had one but a few people advised not to try and use it so ebay it went
it would be interesting to know if you placed a fan in the intake what speed it would spin at due to the vacume from the engine

Anything that looks like a pc fan is simply a toy and is going to do more harm than good.
There are mobs that have made electric superchargers (
http://autospeed.com.au/cms/title_Is-Th ... ticle.html) but you will notice that they require HUGE amounts of power, the attached article has a product that uses 350amps @ 12V. This sort of power requires heavy gauge wire connected to a bank of dedicated batteries and will only give you a few seconds of fun before your batteries are drained.
Yes you save of fabricating piping for a turbo but you still need to have an aftermarket ECU that needs tuning and you have to put those big heavy batteries somewhere. Hardly worth the effort.
If you can't use it as a decent leaf blower, don't bother with it.
