Trust me the 8000K way better, 10000K saturate the road too much, make it too hard to see the contours etc...

8000k is the best if you ask me, still a bit of the colour, but still sharp and crystal clear.

eBay is god's gift to car enthusiasts... :)

4300 is a standard halogen colour isnt it? I thought diamond white was around 5000k :?

Hell I'm just going to find the time and bother to put in my 3000k bulbs from simon's group buy and see how that lights up the road

Hopefully it's a straight swap :)

Yeah but the lower colour temp you go the brighter the light. I think thats like 6x brighter than a halogen globe

U may be right.. i think halogens, xenon mixed and hid lights have different colours with the same kelvins?

I do agree that the lower the kelvin, the brighter. Just going to find the motivation to put in my 3000k hid bulbs :). Also wondering if its an easy swap with the factory hids...

I got 5k color temp on mine. It's solid white.
But when you compare it with 8k by looking straight onto it, you might think 8k is brighter due to the glaring whereas 5k produce solid visible light rather than transparent glaring light.

4300k is more to the color of sun. Those stock hids that you see on euro cars are all 4300k color temp with slight yellow tint on it.

Whereas 3000k, it is golden yellow.

I had 10k and it lit up the road fine. You kids need glasses.
