Licence Plate Placement.

Hey all, just thought i'd gather opinions on my plan to relocate my front license plate.
At the moment i've got a Veilside front bar that needs repainting.
Anywhos the plate is located at the very front but i would like to put it in the mouth of the car.
I've seen another member with it to the side, but im not a fan of unsymmetrical car.
I was jus wondering if theres any disadvantages, or would it more likely break off due to too much wind resistance?
please leave your two cents, thanks.

it wont break off but it does put a little stress on the bottom lip but if you brace it right it should be fine

mate i had the same problem, exact same VS front bar, but you CANT put the number plate on the mesh, easiest way to get booked.

I called the Highway Patrol Commanc Centre (NSW), to verify as ive been defected a few times before in different cars and its a pain in the ass.

i ended up just getting it bolted on to top of the nose, bottom not the best idea, as if you drive fast (assuming you do), the stress can fracture the paint and fibreglass.

on the mesh looks the best, and i thought it would be great coz it may help avoid certain camera fines....

hence the RTA makes sure you place it at the very forefront of the car. :(

^^ Unlucky STORVE!

I guess my mate was lucky. Sold his FTO though, havn't heard of any issues yet regarding it's number plate placement.

Mine zip tied to the mesh.
But my honeycomb mesh getting torn off on the some of the edge bits. No idea how or when this happened.
The honeycomb mesh is metal grille, how the hell can the metal dislocate itself? ><
