Sluggish when accelerating

Hi guys, car is really very sluggish right now during take off. Its a 94 tip with 220xxxkms! :( Can really hear the engine reving hard but just no speed. Aza reckon its a kinda sluggish too.
So my question is what should I do?
Plan to drain the transmission fluid and replace with OE mitsu tranny oil, replace tranny filter, replace fuel filter.( with ben's help when he is free :D )

Does torque converter make the car sluggish? worn out plugs or lead?
Did anyone tried doing the torque converter diagnosis from the handbook?
Cheers

Where do you think your tip fluid is? Your torque converter is full of it ;)

Start with a fluid flush.

Thanks guys, went to a local mechanic and they said they can't drain the fluid in the torque converter. So I am thinking of DIY after reading the threads.
So Ben, can I use your tools and your guidence in exchange of cases? haha

Transmission specialist have equipment to flush most oil out of ya transmission. Highly doubt it's causing the problems though.

well i can't figure out whats wrong so i'll just do one at a time whenever money permits. Haha.
What do you think its the problem then? spark plugs? lead? any filter? torque converter. These are the things that i sorta suspect when i browse through the threads here.

what is gearbox slipping?Sorry. It does drag on the same gear for like 2 secs sometimes when its time to change gear and kinda jerky( thats what i thought) but hard to say coz apparently INVEC sorta learn driving style so might be trying to rev higher. :?

brownish red for the fluid, guess its time to change.
Ya, could be anything so I am just gonna try and error. lolz
really want the engine to go well before going to the look

Slipping is sort of like having it in neutral, rpm but less or no drive.

If you have not properly maintained your car get it serviced. If your oil is still reddish it should be ok, because brown/black is when you know you have issues.

Hmm... I am not sure. Will try to figure out if it is slipping oh the gear just doesnt change in time. Thanks payaya.

If it is slipping does that mean that my gearbox is faulty?

Just come round & we'll change your fluid before Payaya convinces you otherwise & you go home wanting to change your TPS, throttle body butterfly seals and buy an XR6.

Could also be injectors or clogged exhaust system. Sometimes your engine/gearbox mounts affects the engine performance.

I just got my hi-flow cat and cat back on April. So if it is really clogged might be at the extractors or down pipe?
My front engine mount need replacement that I know. Will check the other mounts. thanks
