I want to get at least a 4 point racing harness (I think 6 point might be over kill, sorry Aza) and I don't have a clue what I'm looking for. Do they have to be of Australian standard?

I've looked at these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-4-POINT-B ... 3734wt_905 as I think blue would go well with the interior but they don't look very padded, I wouldn't mind a bit of padding. Is this possible?

Also, I should get a helmet too. What are the regs around them? I know they need the silver Australian Standard sticker on them but where's a good place to go and try them on and get a good price also? I'd like a fully closed one (got to protect my money maker 8) )

Neeeevvvveeeer get race gear from Ebay. Aus design specs are some of the highest in the world.

There are a number of race gear suppliers in Sydney, probably the closest one to you would be Revolution Racegear in Auburn.
They're in the clock tower building off Parramatta road where MSY used to be.

:D I do have a 6 point but I only use four point, as I don't want to chop up the seat to fit the 5and6th points in.

Thanks for the link Ben, I'll check them out. Do they fit them too?

I think I have a few spare Shoei helmets from the bike ... Will check at home if you want... Gotta dig them out ...

I remember taking one to Jakarta for the extended family over there, cause, well, the design standard isn't so great over there... LMFAO ...
