Local mechanic wants to charge $290 for a new one.
Cam skill has a reconditioned one for $230.
Cant find any aus companies to check with for price :/

FYI here is the replacement stepper motor from Cyberspace, with the old stepper on the right :)
Works perfectly.

Thanks, I got a Nikon SLR last week and have been taking photos of everything :P
