I'm looking at taking out my space saver spare wheel and getting 2 amps put down there with a plastic window. Does anyone know if this would be a hard job to DIY?
Or does anyone know a good person who is in that line of work and can do it for me. (I'll proved the amps ofcourse)
I just wouldn't know where to start that's all. :p

how soon would you be willing to have this done,
what you could do, is get some thick, and i mean THICK, clear acrylic and basically cut it the same shape and size as that piece of timber you already have in there,
make a rough sketch, doesnt have to be briliant or artistic, and put some labels on of what you would like and ill see what i can come up with and the best way for you to do it yourself and save some money

Hmm i'm not sure.
Depends how realistic the idea sounds.
When i take my spare tyre out what would i do with the bare metal?
Is there a way to make 2 amps fit and look neat under there. Like would i need to cut metal etc
I would love to have it looking nice back there..
I like your idea of the same shape as the wood currently in there. But i would need to clean up underneath it.
How.

That looks good, I'm going to make a custom designed layout out of fiberglass in a few weeks - very inexpensive and looks really nice if you put the effort into it. I'll post photos once it's all done

Haha, it's not hard to make - and you can customize it as much as you want, I'm spending a fair bit of time on mine, and adding hinges to the back so it opens up so i can still access the boot

yeah its easy, i did send you a message last night but it didnt work, haha
in answer to your question, to clean up the bottom of your wheel well, just make a base out of timber, then attach some stands at different hieghts which will then hold another piece of timber, which you can put your amps on, then cut out that shape of acrylic, thats just a quick suggestion

I did a simple install like this: -
The advantage of a deep sedan's boot ... That box was freaking huge too ... Only reason I bought that car ... and the fact that it was easy to convert to an Evo engine..

That is what I was going for... It was all MDF and carpet .. I hate trying to play around with fibreglass...
The 2 black circles you see in it, are actually computer fans... Both facing different directions...
The idea behind that was to circulate air so the amps would not over heat...
