Sand blasting/cleaning.

Ok next weekend I will be getting out the sand blaster to clean some engine parts.
So I was thinking if any one needs some things cleaned let me know. Rock_it has some things to be done so I will get them done :D .

well im pretty sure their enkei's but its white and i reali want em in just plain alloy,

im changing my car color to graphite grey and i like the style of my rims but wish they could be standard alloy looking.
i also did a face lift and AB style bonnet and de-winged the car..
soo what are your thoughts? can it be done? or take it to a shop?

I think for the rims it would be better to get them acid dipped to remove the paint, then get a clear coat put on them.

Would u know of any shops in Sydney? My plan was to take it to Stripco in revesby but im not sure if they were gonna acid dip em but it was gonna cost $35 a wheel..

I don't think you will do much better then that...

Magman use to do em ... Not too sure if he is still around or not ... But, white/yellow pages are your friend...

Saturday and Sunday mate.
As for what things, any thing as long as it's not to big. Post up what you need done and I can tell you if it can be done.

Yeah, don't think I need anything blasting but I wouldn't mind coming around on Sunday. I just have to try and get out of something I don't want to go to (40th b'day lunch :roll: )

how does the sandblaster go on the intake manifolds?

bought a spare a while ago which i was spose to sand down and polish but motivation has never caught on hehe :lol:

edit: just realised this was for last weekend, hehe :oops:

:lol: yep been and gone.
I got the setup for the manifolds, it cuts the time to do them by about 1/3rd.
The one I blasted last weekend is now ready for fine sanding and then polish :D .
