Ok so after about a month of this chick not picking up the damn car its now my problem again lol
I have decided to turn this mess of an engine conversion into a GPX so far I know I need and have tracked down a wiring harness and ECU my problem now is with the MAP sensor as I don’t have one  so if any one has some spare time could you post a picture of your MAP sensor and where the vacuum hose goes to and from so I can figure out if I have the right intake plenum or if that is from a GR too, also does the plug from the wiring harness just plug straight into the MAP sensor or is there more to it as looking around people have been talking about needing an ECM for the MAP senor but I have no clue what that is.

Thanks

Huh? If you're using a GPX motor, you dont use a MAP, you use a MAS. Furthermore, even the non mivec doesnt use a MAP sensor, it uses a MAF

ok my bad just replace every use of the word MAP with MAS lol yeah I have a MAF sensor which is being used on the car now with the current harness and ecu but when I change the harness and ecu to a GPX one im guessing I will no longer have the plug on the harness of the MAF and I will need to get my hands on this MAS sensor thing and I just want to make sure that i know where the vacuum hose needs to go and if there is anything else i might need.

The very back of your intake manifold, towards the bottom. small vaccum plug leads to the sensor on the firewall directly behind it.
