Warning to those with Angel Eyes

So I was driving along and realised my interior lights and Angel eyes weren't working. Neither were ny tail lights.
Went ok, must be the fuse! Checked the fuse was blown, changed the fuse turned on Angel eyes .
Few seconds later smoke was billowing out from the ballast! Got super hot and was leaking a red fluid... Good thing I tested them first before driving off. Potential fire hazard!
Not cool.... Keep an eye in it guys..

Yeah I thought I cut myself and was bleeding but was leaking from the ballast :s

Yeah, most likely the caps. Something went south.
Never seen these particular ballasts, though if they're like the HID ones, interesting they leaked at all. Supposed to be a sealed unit.

Serves ya right for getting them.
They look horrible on any car bar some high end euros.

Plus the process of getting them in FTO is lights is wronger than male anal sex.
