Has any one put these in?

I'm looking at geting some for my car, from the US, does anyone know any actual places that you can buy them in OZ... Cos I couldn't find any...

Second question, does any one know the difference in appearance between the normal "Gold" ones, and the LED ones, besides the pretty patterns that you can do with the LED ones...

Also, are there any better ones out there?

Don't really know too much about under body neons... but I'm thinking of getting some too, and I was looking at some street glow ones off eBay..

Anyways, what I like the most is the modes you can run them in:
# Sound Activated Lighting
# Sequential Lighting Effects
# Speed Sensitivity Lighting (allows you to adjust the speed of patterns by pushing a simple button)
# Can be connected to your car alarm or remote system

Plus, I imagine, being streetglow, they are probably very strong and waterproof..

And doing some looking on ebay, I think they could be had for arround 250-300 ($AUD) shipped to Aus.

Reply from an e-mail. I'm thinking of going with the LED ones cos they offer heaps more patterns... Plus I saw for more money you can get these LED ones that you can change the actual colour of em...

Hmm... See I believe that StreetGlow is so much better... Light wise & Durability Wise... But if it's going to be this much expensive for shipping then i'm going to give up... :x

Has anyone from here tryed the ones Euro is talking about?
Also, Ethan, which brand of neons did you get? The ones that got water logged?

Honestly i can't remember what brand they were!!

i bought them from autobarn they we in a long wooden box, cost $250
they also claimed to b highly water resistent so i wouldnt trust anything that isnt water proof!!

how much are u guys lookin at for the streetglows and shipping all up??
i mite b interested in a group buy depending on price

oh and on a personal note if your goin to intall the led ones, make sure the globes are not visable, they r really ugly when visable!!

I'd be in, for a group buy... I was kinda hoping for the streetglow optx (changing colours) one though...

Yeah,

It's soo crap, most people that I have e-mailed that ship StreetGlows just don't reply back with the shipping cost...

Ginu_GuGu, if this ever proceeds I think there will be an option for people to choose what they want.

I was quoted $177 for 4 sets of street glows, delievered to the airport..

So maybe we can organise a group buy or something? Should be even cheaper with 6 or more?

I take it were talking USD here... what type where they? what company?

Ha ha we can have a cruise to the airport to pick them up!!

problem is, we aint all from the same state, hmmmm

by Guni_GuGu
Yup, USD, and we're not all from the same state, so they're will be extra $$$ for postage between states, but I think it'll be more like $20 aud within Australia.....

They were streetglow neons optx led, (blah blah bah), you know the ones with nice styles and can change colours, and be connected to the stereo and has a million different types of flashing styles....

Not really trying to advocate we should go for a group buy, but, if some of you guys are really serious about it, and can't find a better deal, I would be in..

I really only posted it, as a comparison, basically, too get a window, of what prices we are facing for what type of neons and sh*t...

These were off eBay, brand new though...

Ok, Count me on on this, it's my Birthday on the 17th, so i'm sure some family members will help me pay. :D

I think the OPTX LED's are an awsome idea, especially the different colours... Cos it's so hard to decide what colour! And you don't know what colour suits your car...

So $171 USD approx = $250AUD atm... plus shipping for ppl like me in other states.... let me know...

Ye, I've seen those. :D

Well, for me atleast, I'm pretty interested in these OPTX Streetglows, for the following reasons:

1) because they offer different colours
2) they only came out like a few months ago
3) it's something completely new
4) they are more durable
5) Many pattern
6) React to sound
