Interior Lighting (Help Please)

Hey everyone, I am planning on putting interior LED lights around my car, such as in the door and above the roof, but I was wondering if there are any guides, or tips that someone could give me so that I can try and do it myself. I am looking to put red lights in, and they would be those little strips of lights that you can get. Any help would be appreciated
