Crank Angle Sensor Changing.

I have been informed that my Crank Angle Sensor needs changing,
I was wondering if anyone has changed it before and would like to give me a hand? I haven't got the parts to replace it or know about doing it.
So if someone has done it before and wouldn't mind driving to RAAF base richmond to give me a hand swapping it over that would be fantastic and i could organise a case.
How much would the Sensor cost and where can i get it from?
Thanks,
Chris.

Have a read of the workshop manuals (available on this site). They cover precisely how to do anything and everything on the car.
You will find that you won't get many answers to a question like this as not many people would have done it and of the people that have done it, not many are near Richmond and of those pretty much none are willing to give their time away for free.
Your options are essentially DIY or take it to a mechanic.

Input sensor is different to your crank angle sensor.
Input is on your transmission and the crank angle sensor is behind the balancer. Crank angle sensor would be a prick to change imo.

I'm giving my mate 4 cases of beer to change the crank angle sensor for me. Sourced one from Japan brand new off dstocks for 100 bucks.

I cant remember if you have to pull everything off to get to the lower timing housing. You may be able to remove the balancer and from that the lower housing. So if that is the case, won't take long.
Get the proper tools to get the balancer bolt off though! You can get them from Repco and sh*t anyway.

Just the crank pulley needs to come off to access it i think
