I was finding it hard to get a plumbing apprenticeship when i was looking for one... Try the big companies or training groups (Registered training organizations (RTO's) ) or even councils they will be your best bet i got the furthest with council applications for plumbing

Is there a pre-apprenticeship course you can do at TAFE?

Yeah there is a pre apprenticeship course and i am doing that now. Once i get an apprenticeship i just move into the trade course which is the exact same for the first 6 months. Anyone know anyone i can try ?

During the pre-apprenticeship course do you have to complete some work-experience? If so maybe the hoster can take you on & if they can't maybe they know another company that will! If you are a good worker...

The pre apprenticeship course is the first 6 months of the Cert 3 course and the purpose is to find an apprenticeship in those 6 months and then continue with the trade course, no time lost. Work experience which is included in the course is done with the TAFE.

Lol motor mechanic plumbing has some good money especially if you move into roof plumbing and fire sprinkler technician lmao but motor mechanic is good if you move into the right section too.

Doesn't the Gov pay an employer to take you on as an appreticeship?
You may want to speak with your local TAFE as they would be aware of which businesses have run apprenticeships in the past. Also pretty sure Mission Australia run some type of Apprenticeship Scheme
