DIY Fuel Rail Modifications

This started off just adding in a fuel pressure sender and guage to monitor fuel pressure.

Once this stage was finished I realised I was running almost double stock fuel pressure and I really needed to be able to regulate it, especially with bigger injectors on their way. So this is the end result.

Not a cheap exercise. I had a lot of the fittings already as well as the sender, guage & regulator, and it still cost me around $300. I'll post up a list of required parts and pricing when I get a chance but I reckon this would be $500 to $1000 for all the parts new.

The other benefit will be improved throttle response as both fuel rails will be getting equal fuel pressure simultaneously.

Anyway pics tell the story :)

Dunno, was in the car when I bought it, though i did relocate the cooler from where it was originally. Is now neatly smack bang in front of the radiator. Can't even remember where the previous owner had it now, think it was up under the guard or somewhere stupid.
