Guys my ecu is making a weird noise picture the sound of a cd being read
In a cd player it's like that but only when I turn the aircon off and every time I start the car aircon always comes on and revs go up to 3000 for 2 sec then back to normal
Also I need all rear bushes like the rear arm inner and outer and all the others I tried to find some at bowers but had none so he said if I send everything off to qld I can get them make and blue printed so anyone can get them what do we think

To reset it, disconnect the negative battery cable for 20 minutes or so. Im not sure if that will work, not exactly sure what the problem would be. just thought it could be useful.

Also, when you reset it, it resets it to factory so it will re-learn your driving habits again.

I dont think resetting it will work, either. If its a noise then I assume a reset will do nothing. Worth a shot, though, I guess. Cant do much harm

The noise you are describing it a ticking type noise? I don't think it's your ECU, but your idle speed controller.
Your base idle isn't properly adjusted which is causing the spike in RPM when the AC is turned on.
What is your idle at when in park when your engine is warm? Your car should be at 750rpm +-100rpm. What a lot of people don't understand you have a line just above 0 rpm on your tacho. This line represents 500rpm, so your idle speed warm, in park should be literally half way between 0 rpm and 1000 rpm, not three quarters of 0-1000 rpm if you get my drift.
The ticking leaks me to believe you ISC is the problem. When you put your car in nl or park when warm does the rpm go up a lot more than you think if should? Say roughly 1000 rpm?

I think you have a idle speed controller problem. Video your car during cold start-up and then put it in drive after 10 seconds then after another 10 seconds put it in park again.

Ah ok! Doesn't matter. Tape car starting with clutch in for ten seconds then turn AC on.

Your idle should be around 1500 rpm then start going down slowly as the engine warms up. If its already warm then 750 straight away in park.

This is what you do, when warm put your car in park, and there is a screw on top of your throttle body under a grommet, turn you idle either up or down until your rpm is at 750rpm in park. This is half way between 0 and 1000 rpm, not three quarters of the way!
