WTB: GPX/GPVR Alternator

Put very simply, the alternator on my GPVR is on it's way out.
So if anyone has one sitting around that is in good knick then let me know and give me a price

Nah I've only got a 2 pin one left.
Just get your existing one reco'ed, that's what I'd do. New ones are absurdly expensive.

ido have one laying around, but it would need to be reconditioned also i think,
so i agree, just get it reconditioned, easy and doesnt cost that much

That would be my preferance however my alternator would need removing in Adelaide, then the alternator to get reconditioned takes a few days. Which means the FTO is stuck in Adelaide.
If I could manage to remove and reinstall the alternator myself with no problems at home i'd be right, but i'm not mechanic haha.
Which is why i'm after a second one just to do a complete switch and have a spare one after that is reconditioned
