Just wondering if there would be any support for a live forum chat up the top of the forum main page, as there is for a lot of forums?

It can be easily implemented, whether it does or not is another story.

To be honest I'm kind of sick of all the crap that gets posted on the forum, 90% of posts are either or quoting someone a thousand times.

Why not use IRC for the time being?

Agreed, it does turn into a shitstorm sometimes. Often my fault, but a lot of the time its just a casual conversation that ends up happening. Which is why I think a chat box will help - all the banter can be done in there, and it will be easier to keep threads on topic (usually). Yes I know I do it, it just kinda happens!

Love IRC... already logged in to 3 servers right now I can create a room for us if you guys want to.

cool idea, down side though, youre going to have a bunch of noobs join, ask questions and leave ~dunno if thats a bad thing, but imo thats sad!
plus any useful information said during chat, wont be available to search for, unless specified already
plus, we have a gibberish section

Yeah, there are dozens of modules I can add in for chat. Never seen any real need for it, that's why we have a gibberish section.

If you want live chat go onto msn, twitter or crap book or what ever other Gen y sites there are out there .
