Version R Vs GPX Handling

Hi guys,
Has anyone driven both these cars?
I've driven a GPX and it had lots of inherent understeer, just wondering whether the Version R tends to understeer as well?
And besides the swaybars and strut braces, does the Version R have anything else different (shocks, springs, etc?)
Thanks

Uprated springs, different more rigid subframe, lighter and of course, the lsd!
I have a GPR with better progressive shocks and fender bars - best handling car ive driven, handles like a dream!

Had different shocks than the GPX from the factory as well, not like it matters now anyway, seeing as they would most likely be stuffed or changed.

If looking at standard I would say yes a GPR would definitely handle better but when u have put coilovers thicker front and rear sway bars polyurethane bushes all round and a LSD I would think that it would change

Taz, does the GPR understeer at the limit though? And especially with throttle input?
As I remember the GPX understeered quite a lot

Version R is better without a doubt. The LSD probably makes the most difference. The control arm setup is superior and the strut braces also hekp a lot (but these are easy to put on a GPX as well). Having owned 2 GPX road cars followed by the version R, id have to say that the manual version R was the best choice by far.

Yes the VR will understeer but to fix it you just give it more right foot and it will then fix itself up

Do you guys think that the GPR would handle better with a GPX front swaybar on it, all else left stock?

No. That's a backwards step.

Other way around

Version R already has the best handling bits. The only way you would improve is by going aftermarket.

If the GPR still has a tendency to understeer though, wouldn't the softer GPX front swaybar give it more front end grip?

Three words " front wheel drive " they all under steer when pushed.

In fear of getting flamed...
Have you ever driven an older Honda with suspension mods? The amount of front end grip they have is astounding
