I never should have sold her. R.I.P.

Post by HiRAEdd »

Sad to say whilst I've only been an FTO owner in spirit now for a couple of years, my girl has moved on to the FTO afterlife.

Don't know the details of her demise, not game to contact the current/last owner. I prefer to remember her in happier times.

The guy that has this car now got it from an auction... It was written off from an accident with two trees
I pretty much got everything cool off the car... I wouldn't mind getting the rims though and the strut brace

Ah, thanks Stef. Maybe he should have put a bull bar on it rather than under car neons ;)

The rims will cost more to repair than they were worth brand new. I scratched one once and found that out the hard way. What did you end up getting off her?

We're going back quite a few years and my memory's a bit sketchy but I think I paid somewhere between $180 - $250 per wheel. Repairing one wheel - again, quite some years back - cost almost $300.

The unit wouldn't be much good without the controller so I'm guessing it would be.

Yea he said he still had the whole unit, wants to sell the rest as a whole though or it will start to lose value - and i will HiRAEdd - is there anything in particular you want off this car that will still be on it for memories sake? happy to put something aside for you :)

haha, thanks for the offer but nah, I don't think there's any one item worthy of a keepsake. I've got a photo of her blown up on canvas in my office, that's my keepsake :)
