I'm going to post this thread in here for now.
It's going to be a very long stretched out annoyance to people, but here in lies the fun!

I will give $20 to whoever can guess what this is once the purchase has been made in the future.

I am not saying when the purchase will be made, or what type of thing the purchase is, but only that the person who guesses correctly will receive the above prize.

Rules:
I will only take the first guess from each hint. (i.e. if you make 2 posts, only your first is counted each time I post a hint.) (I will also not count your guess if your post has been edited.)
I will not state whether you are correct or not until the purchase has been made, so even if you guess correctly on the first post, you will not find out until the announcement date.
I will not give any further hints beyond what I post as a hint each time, I favor no-one.
