Anyway, was thinking of going to Summernats and wanted to see if a few of the members here wanted to come (mainly NSW - but all would be welcome).

Im bracing for plenty of flaming from you guys, but bear in mind I've never been before and I think it's worth going at least once in a lifetime so I can bitch later on in life about how much of a wasted weekend it was.

Regardless, if anyone is keen then let me know and we can organise something. It's in Canberra, 3-6 January, 2013.

Its $120 for a ticket for all 4 days per adult, or we can go for individual days - see here http://www.summernats.com.au/pages/?Par ... PageID=114

If we go in a group and camp there then it will turn out to be around $250 each for 4 people. Alternatively, I might see if lawso has any mates there that could possibly accomodate us for the few days.

No worries with the money situation. Again, Im in the same boat. Lawso reckons we MAY find a place with couches/floor to crash on if money is tight. Phil lives at the central coast, and I'm in Sydney so yeah. Not too far. If you wanted to, you're welcome to drive to mine in Sydney then ride shotgun with me - saves petrol money and is easier than cruising in a big group.

I reckon I'll be goin the other half wants to so ATM that's the plan may even camp reckon it will be a good time
