So far no luck buying an FTO

I've been trying to find an FTO to buy for a couple months, so far they have all been duds. The first one had terrible paint and body damage, the second I got inspected by a mechanic and it had rust and leaks and the most recent one I also got inspected by a mechanic and it had too many things wrong with it to list.

Have I been unlucky or do a lot of FTOs have problems like this because of their age?

Yep, it pretty much comes with age. Either you're really lucky and the previous owner took care of it or you won't find one without ANY problems.

Yea, it's luck of the draw, you just have to hold out, and keep looking.
Sooo many times I was about to buy another car, Legacy/300ZX/etc...
But once I found mine, I am sooo glad I didn't buy any of the others

Gen Y is making the good ones more rare. :troll:

Plus you won't buy a car without issues.
There is always something with any sort of car.
Even a Toyota has issues.

Either hold out for the Holy Grail, or buy a decent and fix the rest.

Most people won't put their car up for sale if there isn't any problem/issue/downside with it.

Looks very clean and decent for me... Price seems good as well, Mivec is a plus, not a bad GPX in my opinion!

Definitely worth an inspection :)

From what I can see I think it has a new air intake, metal dial surroundings, changed gear lever and hand break lever, new head unit, obviously seat covers and steering wheel cover and IDK what that thing sitting infront of all the dials is.

Gear lever is a factory optional extra MOMO shifter.

Its not a turbo timer

If it is then I'd be worried. Just ask the guy when you call to inspect it ;)

I reckon it's a speed alert.
Sounds alarm when you go over the limit you set.

It's stupid ey. And they always do it when the roads are busiest as it is...

Looks clean... I'd be skeptical. lol

Just check it out.
Mightn't be too bad.

Yep, definitely a turbo timer.
There a 2 reasons for one.
1) he thrashes it SO hard that he needs one (or thinks he does)
2) Its 'cool' and JDM yo! Because yolo and its all about the SWAG (can only assume thats his mentality)

im surprised its not riddled with purple neons, stickers and big chrome dinner plates
