After circling around the cbd thrice, I had to cross a one way busy street horizontally, wheelie the front wheel over the huge ass kerbs to get on the foot path then squeezed it in a tiny space between two bikes.

So now i know, there's motorbike parking only on one street stretch in the entire cbd zone! Miss the 'park anywhere on foot path for free as long as you are not obstructing anyone' rule of Victoria

Well yes they "drive" but you have to use the term "drive" in it's most loosest broadest possible form.

Only inside allocated parking spots. And only one street stretch (Turbot St) has some of these parking spaces in the CBD area. All these spaces get filled up straight away by 9am :\
In Melb you can park anywhere on the footpath as long as it's not obstructing traffic or pedestrians.

I get parking everyday on my motorbike in Brisbane CBD easy
