Hi guys,
Can anyone on here do aluminium welding in Sydney?
I want to make up some alloy ramps for the trailer. I can get the planks, but I need someone to weld some angle on the ends as per the following pic, cheap

Also possibly cut the other end as per the following pic;

Anyone interested?
Thanks.

I can refer you someone.
Did all the piping and exhaust for my wagon.
He's a fabricator by trade.
However, you will pay, but the qualtity is tip top.
He is also a ways out of our area...
let me know if interested.

Whereabouts?
I've been quoted around $200. Was only wanting to spend up to $100 to do this. But yeah needs to know how to weld aluminium.

Cranebrook.
Unsure on price, you'd need to chat with him.
Pretty sure he does aluminum.

Funnily enough that's what I've pretty much decided I'm going to do, initially at least. I'm planning to use the steel ends on my current wooden ramps.

Because not everbody does alloy, and not everbody does a fair price.
I too would rather see if i can get mates rates before i started ringing around 100s and 1000s of places getting the (more than likely) same overpriced quote.

^^ This, I've already rang a couple of places I know, and I'm looking around $200. So that makes the ramps in total $400-$450, more than I wanted to pay for these atm. And I figured if someone on here does welding than I'm happy to slug them $100 cash for what is probably half an hours work.
