Plug for Backlight kick plates

So I finally got my EL inverter in the mail, but I'm not too sure where to plug it into?
I know that it's somewhere above the fuse box, but there's a few places it could be.
I found a plug that is taped to one of the wiring harnesses, is it that one?
Pics would be helpful too thanks

Yes they would, so go take some
It would have power come on with your interior lights, use your multimeter on each plug and push the door interior light switch in/out and you should be able to determine the correct plug.

Is it the stock inverter and do you have the plug?
I tapped into the wires going up the A-Pillar that go to the map lights.

nah it's not the stock inverter, just a generic one that I got off of ebay.

Well even if you find the plug you won't be able to plug it in anyway. Just tap into the A-Pillar wires.
There are 3 wires, one is a constant 12v, one is a constant ground and one is a switched ground from the door switches.

Pending on what type of plug it is, I could either cut it off, or use spade terminals on it...
But I may just have to use that wire... :/
I think I know which one to use, which I believe would be the same one I used for the Alarm's courtesy light switch.

Pretty sure this is it
Its at the top right. You would need to remove the metal bracket that's in the way.
And you won't have the plug if your car didn't come with them as an option and you can't get any sort of spade terminal on the pins, even the small ones.

I had to wire up a couple of relays to get dome light supervision and auto re-arm and lock working together.
Took me a while to figure out how to do it.

Are you sure this is the case? If the kick plates were also a dealership optional extra then the plug would have to be there wouldn't it?

Lawso's GX has the plug and I dont think that it came with them from dealership. We put them in at Dwayne's a couple weekends ago.
But yeah top right. Just FYI the metal bracket is only there on facelifts. Theres I think 4 bolts on it.. 12mm from memory?

I'm talking about the plug that plugs into the socket on the fuse box
And yes 4 12mm bolts
Also, have you picked up your shell yet?
