Has anyone here replaced their faulty Mivec V6 knock sensor with a Magna V6.

Would they be interchangable?

Part number for FTO is MD165641
Part number for Magna is MD165642

My ECU is indicating error code 31.

They are a different part number for a reason.

Read up on knock sensors and it should become apparent.

Thanks for your response Shhtuart. Just seeing if there are alternative/interchangable parts for the FTO. so hard to find new FTO parts locally in sydney.
