That isn't polished or painted. It is HPC coating, which is expensive.

It only says silver polished coating, but surely it's not $375 worth

Key word there, and to the left of where it says that, it says "HPC Coating"

You could probably get them done a bit cheaper elsewhere, just check for somewhere in your area that does ceramic coating.

Yep, just standard. Thinking of painting them with VHT Flameproof paint.

Just get a $50 roll of fiberglass tape and heat wrap them.

Wrapping them isn't such a good idea on a daily driver. Because when you drive in the wet, moisture gets trapped in between and causes the extractors to rust. I have seen a couple that have rusted all the way through.

Been installed on ours for well on 8 years, prior to our owning.
No coating and no holes.
They are made strong, so don't bother with the coating.

And we live 200m from the Paramatta River.

The only reason to get a coating is to make them look better. (Well the tiny part of the front ones you can see)

For a daily, yes I'd agree to that statement.

Stainless steel Pro Shop iidas FTW!

Are the RPW ones mild steel or something?

Yeah true, mine aren't in yet though so I was going to get a custom one made up.

I have a second hand but decent set of rpw headers, surplus to requirements
