Well, need a daily drive (have put over 100000km on Triton in less than 2 years and I need that to last as our family car). Would prefer a manual (the silver one I have is auto). And ive learnt that when people start replacing suspension rubbers and do timing belts, they care about the car (ended up finding that I had dealt with the seller before). As to why an FTO, honesty, when you have as many FTO parts as I do and have the knowledge to swap engines out etc (but that is specific to the FTO), why would you choose anything else - it just doesnt make sense. So this was too good to go past. In this case, the car is completely straight with no roof rust, no oil leaks, timing beltjust changed and quite a few of the rubber boots replaced. Cant lose.....

If you can sort out rego in NSW then I'm absolutely more than happy to drive it down for you and catch a train back up.

Might look like that, but no. Was a sneaky $300 bid. Was sitting at $1200 when I placed the bid, butI got it for less than I thought it would go for.

I got kick plates as well

Doesnt have rego atm and missing floor console and passengers indicator. I guess I could get a permit for it. At the moment I have got a query into Carways to get it to Canberra or Batemans Bay.

Exactly why i bought an FTO for the mrs daily...with all the parts and knowledge (including your stockpile) and the forums being so helpful (well..most of you) why would i want anything else when i can get an fto for 1k?

Yep. I could get something that was better on fuel, but given the mileage I do, it would cost me more in maintenance costs than I save on fuel. As long as I dont start modding it, I should end up ahead.

You should get low 8ltr per 100k yeah?

Which is still pretty good nowadays..

Yep, exactly.
i got 650 city driving and i wasnt the most fuel friendly person :P
With the mileage being mostly highway and the mrs being a pretty fuel friendly driver im hoping to see 800 a tank as everything is being replaced and maintained meticulously.
Better than the 20 bucks a day to run commodore we have now...

Hopefully. Engine has got a few K's on it though, so may not be as efficient anymore. Already looking into lining up another as a spare. Have found one with supposedly 103K for a reasonable price.
