well saturday is the day... 4 hour drive - ferry - 2 hour drive to Cambridge.. to pickup a another autobox, this time WITH inner cv's
as soon as i have the other box out i will split it and sell the LSD. shipping should't be bad.. We also have an office in Sydney (PRA International) so i could ship with some computer hardware.
Wouldn't no where to start, I thought u can pretty much bolt an LSD on without to much work involved. Making it a cheap effective upgrade. For an auto..silverGPX wrote:Why don't u just convert it to manual

On my greens Dwayne so it doesn't matter, and didn't bother me when I was searching for a car.. If I could go back, I would be more patient and wait for the right fto to go up.
Yeah I won't be going near any of it myself, I ment cost wise. It would have to be a lot more expensive to pay a mechanic to convert it to manual then what it would to fit in an LSD ..I don't no much, so I may be wrong?Vectose wrote:Gearbox has to come out and be cracked open to install a LSD, and it isn't as easy as you think.
You'd be surprised, taking the box out whether it be an auto or manual is where most of the time is taken up. Converting to manual isn't all that hard, I've done a couple now & the last one took me about 3 days - so multiply that by your Joe Blow mechanics hourly rate of 80-100 an hour, based on an 8 hour day, worst case scenario, that's only $2400 if you supply the parts.destinationtoby wrote:Yeah I won't be going near any of it myself, I ment cost wise.
