Idle Dip (Sometimes, Cold) and Weird Wooshing Sound

So i believe its pretty common for the FTO to have some strange idle, this is pretty much teh same as the preludes of the era.
It never used to do it, till 2 days ago, when the cars cold, it sometimes dips down low and comes back up (But never stalls) But when its warm it will behave fine and sit happily on 800rpm, Weird. Stepper motor? is there anyway of cleaning it or is it a replacement part i need?
I also have this Wooshing sound when i accelerate or rev, it almost sounds like a turbo charger sucking, with a high pitch whistle, last time i checked i don't have a Turbo in there. Any idea what it could be? I'll have to get a video up.
I've checked all the intake piping and other hoses, i don't know if its bad or if i should just leave it.
Only thing i've done differently is I've just gotten a new stereo installed. and that's the only thing different i've done. There are Power Cables that run from the battery to the boot. Could it cause interference?

Check the exhaust system to see if there are any visible holes in it. Other than that, my car is currently making a similar noise (more of a whir) and the culprit is the Alternator.

Sounds like a possible vacuum leak.

Crappy idle and a high pitched whistle while revving...

I got factory air box, I've tracked the sound and its coming from around the alternator/belt area, and i can mainly hear it when i get down low and listen under the drivers side front wheel.
I changed my alternator about 2-3 weeks ago, but the noise only just started now. ah well back to trying to figure it out
p.s i might go unplug the amps and see if that changes anything. eliminate something from the list

Is the alternator belt tensioned properly?

yeah checked that. all good
I've found out what it is. It is indeed the speakers/cabling. I don't know why i didn't just try turning them off, but tested it today coming home; when i had my stereo going the noise would come back and its louder if its turned up and when you turn it off the car goes back to sounding normal.
I guess when i put my head down near the wheel, the speaker is right behind where my head was and that's where the noise was coming from.
No idle problems today either, car might of just been a bit grumpy that day.
thanks for all your replies though
